In September 2015, Troy Floyd, Floor Tech at Wooldridge Place Nursing Center in Corpus Christi, Texas, received Life Care Centers of America's 2014 Gulf States Region Whatever It Takes And Then Some Award for his dedication to his facility's residents. Floyd always takes special care to ensure resident rooms are fully ready for new residents and makes it his mission to befriend them and learn about their special interests. For one particular resident, his friendship made all the difference. Floyd sat with the resident in the last days of the resident's life, spending extra time with him and listening to his stories. The resident's family offered heartfelt praise and deep gratitude for Floyd's friendship and kindness.
Floyd's story is just one of many tales of exceptional customer service and care found throughout our skilled nursing facilities and rehabilitation centers.
